Anyway basically it was all Del's fault for choosing the conditions. I have vague flashes of OOB's that weren't, rough that was water, chair malfunctions (hope you kept the recipt John) and some sneaky wotsit doing nothing all night and thin nicking it all on the last hole. Olivers first Tuesday Outing took an early lead closely followed by Colin somewhere I got some Dosh, and manage to stop Oliver on the 8th with a 28foot put. My Snap let me dowm on the 9th to halve the hole But Oliver won it . Steve did try but alas in vain! but the Accolades must go to Del for his Most Class HOLE in ONE gr8 game guys thanks. -------------------------------------------- Name: Tubbs Was Beaten By: Ruffbloke Date: 18 January 2012 Time: 14:01:33 Result: 19k Course: APCD Downloaded Match Report: Tuesday night ladder skins with all the usual suspects Del,John,Steve,Tony and me not so goodself @ Kapalua Plantation 2009 (vers) back 9.John and his magic kilt were off to a flying start with a birdie and bonus skin of 8k on the 1st closely followed at the 2nd by a rare thing indeed at the 2nd an Ace by err whatisname it slikps my memory oh yeh Del which only earned him 6k odd that but on we went weith a roll over on the next 1 and then that other jammy git got a bird on the neext for 9k and the lead my halving putt was dead centre of hole but somehow spun out that was my only real showing in the game as Tony and I did a good rendition of the useless twins........J won the 7th to retgain the lead with anuvaa 11k 8 and 9 were halved tho my bunker shot on ther last from 28yrds came close for eagle...So Mr. Magic Kilt wins again..........GG and fun as per nice win J -------------------------------------------- Name: DelK Was Beaten By: Ruffbloke Date: 18 January 2012 Time: 14:06:42 Result: No idea what happened! Course: Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort Match Report: Tuesday night game with me, Tony, Colin, Steve & yes the winner who goes by the name of John. I arrived slightly late for this game and sad to say the lads were waiting on me so I had to play, err.... what I meant to say was it's always a pleasure to play with such a lovely bunch of bandits. Now I'm not a bitter person as everyone who knows me will....... no wait scrap that. Let's start with a proper report and lo & behold John started on the 1st (10th) with his now usual win which for some odd reason netted him a very large 9k we then came to the 2nd (11th) a nice downhill par 3 which is almost impossible to ace unless you are over burdened with extreme measures of talent, anyway John, Steve, Colin & Tony all found the putting surface then I decided to use some of said talent and a hole in one was a formality lol. The onyy thing puzzling me at the time was why had I not been automatically awarded the game due to my brilliance! Anyway let me finish the match report as I'm not in the least bit bitter about things. In a nutshell Steve won a very nice Skin and coming up the last 9th (18th) and final fairway John still held the lead which meant Tony & Colin would have needed an Eagle to win whilst Steve & me would only need a birdie which was easily obtainable on this final par 5 but alas Steve, me and John all finished with birdies to give victory to John which is getting to be a habit! Oh a mention of Colin's third from sand on the 9th (18th) which he almost holed for what would have been a sensational victory. GG all and I look forward to demonstrating my golfing abilities next time. Col played like a sore A£$% till the last two holes, he told Steve that noone could catch up but as usual he was talking out of his rear end. 6 shots later an Eagle and then bird proved him wrong and poor Steve will have to go back and tell his Ma that he is still a contender. -------------------------------------------- Name: DelK Was Beaten By: Tubbs Date: 25 January 2012 Time: 13:51:42 Result: A Biggsey for certain! Course: APCD Downloaded Match Report: Tuesday evning game with the usual suspects of me, John, Tony, Steve & bandit of the week err... I meant winner of the week Colin. Never in the long and varied history of Links have I ever witnessed such daylight robbery as I did on Tuesday. It all started so well with Tony finding his game and winning the first Skin then Steve comes along and wins a Skin followed by me and then Steve again to give himself what looked like an almost uncatchable total of £1.5m as the game was a big money MOP, meanwhile back at the batcave where Colin spent the first seven or so holes looking for lost balls due to the fact he couldn't hit a snap over the first seven holes he then had the audacity to play two, yes two perfect holes to win with birdie then eagle to steal a total of £1.7m and thus rob Steve by a mere 200k and leave everyone baffled as to how he did it. I would say well played to Colin but he would say himself that he did not play well all night but for said two hole wonders and poor Steve's probably going to need therapy for a rather long time to get over this one, all said & done Steve played the best cyber golf of the lot of us all night and yet didn't win. Someone should contact Prof Steven Hawkings and ask him how that happened. GG Chaps & well played to those who did..... For 7 holes it was the worst I've ever seen Col play, maybe he was playing with his feet instead of his hands, whatever. Then after repeated claims of 'you can't be caught Steve' (which I never did fall for) he proceded to play faultless golf for two holes and snatch it away. Biggest robbery since that linesman failed to spot Drogba 2 yards offside and gifted the title to the team wot he supports (sensing a pattern here). Everyone played good in spells and on another night Tony could have come away with the win. Anyway well played to Col in the end and I'm not bitter and don't begrudge him the win....oh, hang on.....yes I do. ;-)) -------------------------------------------- Name: Tubbs Was Beaten By: SteveFr Date: 27 January 2012 Time: 09:52:20 Result: 2 holes Course: APCD Downloaded Match Report: OMPL played online with SteveFR at St.Andrews backwards front 9 - Conds were Windy M(c)/S(c)We both bogied the 1st after I was OOB off the tee and Steve thought he'd play safe with a 3 wood and went in the burn oops then the next 3 were halved until the 5th when stev won it with a bird the 6th was halved and on the 7th I got an eagle to level the game once more......on the par 3 8th Steve nailed his tee to 7 ft and i was 52 ft away my putt came up 2 ft short grrrrr and Steve holed his to go 1 up he then shut me out with a gr8 bird on the last to my par for a 2 hole win well played Steve was a class game in tough conds. -------------------------------------------- Name: Gopher Was Beaten By: SteveFr Date: 01 February 2012 Time: 16:32:55 Result: Loadsa Dosh Course: APCD Downloaded Match Report: Tuesday Night Online Ladder game ALL WELCOME SEE FORUM!!. Wow Looks as though I am the first Yet again to bite the Bullet and log the Ignominious Defeat ant the wiat for sufficient roll over and then win Steve! I don't remember much Steve was a 1 shot wonder and picked up a massive rollover plus bonus, then he did it again ok 2 hole wonder.
